Winter School Holiday Programme: Layers of Expression (9-12 yrs)

With a wonderful and vibrant collection of Irma Stern paintings we will take you on tour unpacking and discovering the layers of this Expressionist painter. Sterns iconic painting technique of layering the paint will serve as inspiration as you are guided to compose your own Still Life to be executed with the impasto painting technique. Be ready to layer paint in an array of complementary and contrasting colours.

All materials and protective wear will be provided, canvas, extra paint and brushes will be taken home. Please make note of any allergies or dietary requirements when booking tickets; we will try our best to cater to these needs.
