Winter Holiday Programme: Paper-Play; reimagining narratives (13-16yrs)

You’re invited on a journey through words and images to create your own heroic-inspired zine!

In this workshop, participants will explore cutting, pasting, drawing, and folding techniques. They will reflect on themes that link with memory, belonging, community, and identity to create their own narratives, which will be bound by experimenting with various bookbinding methods.

This lesson is inspired by the artworks of South African artists like Cecil Skotnes, Keith Dietrich and William Kentridge, which will be shown and discussed as part of the creative process.

All materials will be provided, inclusive of a snack pack (please inform us of any dietary requirements).
