Winter Holiday Programme: Making Mask-terpieces (9-12yrs)

Here’s an opportunity to construct your own imaginative African-inspired mask!

In this workshop, you will experiment with shapes, patterns, and three-dimensional form while exploring various construction techniques to transform recyclable paper-based materials into an imaginative mask.

This lesson is inspired by the artworks of Cecil Skotnes, Sydney Kumalo, Lucas Sithole, and Edoardo Villa, which will be shown and discussed as part of the creative process.

All materials and protective wear will be provided, inclusive of a snack pack (please inform us of any dietary requirements).
