Winter Holiday Programme: Beyond the Frame (13-15yrs)

We invite you on a journey through landscapes, imagining a world beyond the frame. With J. Jones’ Cape Town Panorama (1808) as inspiration, we will guide you to create your own panoramic watercolour painting.

You will expand on a chosen artwork from Gallery 1’s selection of South African and international landscape paintings from the 1960s through to the 1990s. Let your imagination run wild through the landscapes, think beyond the frame and into the painted worlds. 

All materials will be provided, inclusive of a fruit and something sweet (please inform us of any dietary requirements).
