Museum Saturday wine tasting with L’Avenir

Join us for a tasting with L’Avenir, a leading Stellenbosch boutique winery that specialises in South Africa’s emblematic varietals: Pinotage and Chenin Blanc. Situated four kilometres from Stellenbosch on the slopes of Simonsberg Mountain, the estate is right in the heart of South Africa’s most revered wine appellation. Owned by the French leader of terroir wines, AdVini, L’Avenir  produces authentic South African wines, with a touch of French flair.

MCC Pinotage Brut

GlenRose

The L’Avenir Glenrosé is South Africa’s pioneering premium Pinotage. This gorgeous, elegant work of art is the innovative creation of winemaker, Dirk Coetzee, following an inspirational trip to Provence in France.

Provenance Chenin Blanc

A phenomenal Chenin Blanc that consistently over delivers, by balancing crisp, fruity notes, with the classy complexity of oak spice and minerality.

Single Block Chenin Blanc

Produced from a vineyard that was planted in 1973, the L’Avenir Single Block Chenin Blanc unveils balance and complexity that is synonymous with old vines.

Provenance Pinotage

The wine that put L’Avenir on the global wine map. L’Avenir Provenance Pinotage has converted many wine drinkers to committed Pinotage proponents by capturing the fruit and perfume notes of this fascinating grape.

Single Block PInotage

The L’Avenir Single Block Pinotage is made from a selection of only the finest barrels produced from L’Avenir’s famed Block 2 Pinotage vineyard. This is the Estate’s flagship and the pinnacle of modern, Stellenbosch Pinotage.

 

The tasting takes 60 minutes and there are 3 time allocations:

12:00 – 13:00

13:30 – 14:30

15:00 – 16:00

A R30 booking fee secures your seat. Please note this booking fee is exclusive to the Rupert Museum.

  • only available for over 18 years. No children will be allowed into the tasting.
