Museum Saturday Where landscape meets life-drawing workshop with artist Diane Harper (18yrs +)

This workshop includes a facilitated walk through the Rupert Museum and in the surrounding garden with the facilitator.

Participants will be provided with all sketching materials to gather inspiration from the trees surrounding the museum, await inspiration from The Johannesburg Station Panels by JH Pierneef and AbstRacT – the hidden synchrony with macrophotographs by Oscar Forel and abstract works by Modern SA artists.

Drawing from life, expression and abstraction are some of the themes of the workshop.

In the MakerStudio, Diane will demonstrate and focus on aspects of composition, use of line, pattern, texture and colour.

The workshop is open to curious adults of all levels of ability.
