Museum Saturday Wellington Wines tasting

Wellington Wines history dates back to 1906, 1907 and 1941 when Wellington Co-operative Winery, Bovlei Co-operative and Wamakersvalley Wines were founded respectively. The accomplishments of each winery, together with a passion for wine and shared interest in enriching the Wellington Wine industry, led to the three wine giants combing forces, merging in recent years to form Wellington Wines.
Join us for a wine tasting experience, where you will taste the La Cave collection by Wellingtons Wine. The tasting will comprise of La Cave Chenin Blanc, La Cave Shiraz, La Cave Pinotage, La Cave Cape Blend & La Cave Cabernet Sauvignon.
Here the original wine chambers used for their La Cave range to mature in French Oak barrels to develop its flavours. This was made to be aged, opened at appropriate occasions with complex flavours, appreciated by wine consumers. Elegant and smooth, only the best quality grapes are carefully handpicked for our flagship wine. Made in a traditional old wine style, obtaining a streek of rewards over time. The attention to detail showcases a wonderful timeline from grafting, growing vines, selection, barrel ferment and growing in the bottle.
