Museum Saturday EXPLORE & DRAW WORKSHOP – Nature Morte (Fully Booked)

Come and experience a multi-sensory exploration of the Nature Morte – The Still from Life exhibition through a series of drawing activities facilitated by artist and educator Katherine Bull.

In this drawing workshop participants will be guided to explore the genre of ‘still life’ on display within our changing relationship to domestic interiors and objects.

Bull’s approach to drawing is process driven, exploratory and playful and does not require previous drawing experience.

“Looking, with a specific consciousness, is a way of thinking for me. It is as if thoughts unfold from my eyes and attach to things.” – Penny Siopis.  (Goodman Gallery: 2005)

Attendance is free, all materials will be provided. Booking is essential. Limited seats available. Please make sure you make a separate booking for each person.

For the workshop, Katherine asks that you bring an object from your home that you found supportive/inspiring during lockdown.

Please email denise@rupertmuseum.org to be put on a waiting list.
