Figure Sketching with artist Fawa Conradie (16yrs+)

Fawa Conradie is an artist and educator who has made and taught multiple media art over the last thirteen years; to fellow-artists, children and people with special needs. He is part of a Life Drawing group that’s been established for seven years and who meets once a fortnight to draw models from life. He is also the founder member of Stellenbosch Urban Sketchers, now in its ninth year.

During this workshop, attendees will draw a model (dressed) from the exhibition space currently featuring The Johannesburg Station Panels by JH Pierneef. All levels are welcome, but strictly for those over 16 years. The workshop will explore quick sketches and marks while you progress into sketching longer poses, focusing on using charcoal, graphite and conté pencils.

Kindly note that both workshops are the same – there are two time allocations.

A booking is only  for the session booked and not both.
