Figurative Exploration with artist Jo Shepherd (18yrs+)

Slow down, observe and respond to the human form in this immersive life drawing workshop with multidisciplinary artist and educator Jo Shepherd.
Working from a live life model, you will be guided through a series of drawing exercises, from quick observational sketches to longer poses as the model shifts and changes position. Along the way, you will explore the expressive possibilities of graphite, charcoal and felt-tip pens, while developing an understanding of line, composition, proportion, gesture and mark-making.
This is an opportunity to step away from the pressure of creating a “perfect” drawing and instead explore seeing, responding and expressing through the act of drawing.
A booking is only for the specific session booked, not both.
