Museum Saturday Deep South Distillery Gin cocktail tasting

Join us for a tasting experience that will comprise of a brief talk about Deep South Distillery and then you will proceed to taste each gin in a ‘step by step’ interactive process. The tasting will showcase the fact that gin cocktails are not complicated to make and it only takes a minute or two to make a great looking and tasting Gin!

You will be tasting the Cape Dry Gin, Spice Island Gin & Ruby Red Gin.

The tasting takes between 45 minutes to 60 minutes and there are 3 time allocations:

12h00 – 13:00

13:30 – 14:30

15:00 – 16:00

A R30 booking fee secures your seat. Please note this is an exclusive one day only booking fee exclusive to the Rupert Museum.

If you are attending the workshop with Felicity Bell, you will not be allowed to do the tasting due to the time clash.

Deep South Distillery is the southernmost distillery on the Cape Peninsula.  We specialise in distilling small-batch, hand-crafted spirits made with love, care and pride.

Our main products include award-winning gin, rum and vodka, but we love experimenting with flavours and aromas, so our recipe library includes many delicious concoctions, and at any point in time you are sure to find  a fruity schnapps, delectable liqueur or interesting grappa lurking in a tank somewhere.  We also do contract distillation for a few select clients and have a Boutique Private Label services for clients who are looking for a spirit under their own brand.
