What colour is your boat? Painting and drawing workshop with artist Sanet Visser (9-12yrs)
“when i put down a green, it doesn’t mean grass; and when I put down a blue, it doesn’t mean the sky” HENRI MATISSE
Join in for this fun workshop where you will try your hand at both painting and drawing like the Expressionists! We will give you the freedom to be BOLD and create your own colourful and imaginary scenes by using complementary, clashing, and contrasting colours, all while learning about perspective!
Take inspiration from the boat and harbour scenes of the masters like Irma Stern, Peter Clarke, Maggie Laubser and Max Pechstein. We promise you it will be to most colourful scenes you have ever seen! This will help you to create your own boat or harbour depicting your own set of meaning and feelings.
It is a day for imagination, dreaming and exploring the places you have seen or yet to see.
All materials and a snackpack will be provided. Please advise us of any dietary requirements when making your bookings and we will do our best to accommodate that.
