Pigments & Colour with artist Klara-Marié den Heijer (18yrs+)

Join Klara-Marié den Heijer for an immersive workshop on the art of pigment making. Discover where natural colours come from and learn how to transform raw earth, clay, sand, and soil into paint.

You will be guided through extracting pigment and grinding your own oil paint.

This workshop celebrates those artists that look at nature not just for its subjects, but the inspiration and materiality it delivers. 

All materials are provided; you are encouraged to bring your own 1litre tub of raw material, such as mud, sand or clay. This workshop is more on the messy side, so older clothing preferred, aprons provided.
