Museum Saturday #GallerySessions with Muzi

#GallerySessions
Join us for a live music performance by Muzi!
Muzi is a 21-year-old musician originally from Durban, KZN with over 5 years of experience being in the music scene. When he was just 11, he was part of the LIV-Village choir which taught him all he had to know about singing. In 2014, he and his fellow school mates started a 5-man band where he played guitar and got to perform at markets and open days at venues around Durban. In 2016, he was chosen to tour the UK for 3 months with the LIV-Village choir. At the end of his last year of school in 2018, his band came to an end as all its members went on to pursue different paths in life. Ever since he became a solo artist, he is still passionate about playing good music as well as song-writing. His Zulu/Xhosa background allows him to showcase a diverse variety of melodies and tunes, with song choices ranging from fast vibey tunes to slow and jazzy ones. His soothing voice will keep you wanting to listen for more.
No bookings required.
A special café inspired menu is available on the day.
