Natural Soap Workshop with Soaportuguese (18 years+)

Do you love hand-made, nourishing natural soaps? If you find the topic of making your own natural soap exciting and would like to learn how to do it, this workshop is just for you. This will be a practical workshop where together we will make a beginner-friendly batch of soap that you can easily repeat at home. Colour and scent can be added to match your preference, and, in addition, techniques to creatively decorate the soap bars will be shared.
Only natural ingredients – from the oils and butters to the scents and colours – will be used. You can choose between different ingredients, such as lavender or chamomile flowers, and other additives, such as seeds and various exfoliants, to give your soap a special touch. By the end of the workshop, you will have your own personalized soap to take home or gift.
Please note that this is a special offering; costs are subsidized by the Rupert Museum. There will be no lunch break, but an opportunity to order drinks and sweet treats for the short breaks in-between. You are welcome to bring your own snacks and water is available in the workshop space.
To be placed on a waiting list, please email grace@rupertmuseum.org.
Please note that no cancellations will be given a refund.
